Mega Bloks is a Thomas & Friends toy range started in late 2009. The toys are produced by Mega Brands after HiT Entertainment discontinued their contract with LEGO. The range has easy to build engines with working wheels and CGI-style faces. Its manufacturer Mega Brands was acquired by Mattel in 2014.
